The collaboration brings 134 types of contract templates and clauses to the LegalOn platform, strengthening support for contract practice in Singapore

San Francisco, USA & Tokyo, Japan —September 10, 2026 — LegalOn Technologies, a global leader in legal AI, today announced a new collaboration with the Singapore Academy of Law (SAL) that brings 134 SAL-licensed contract templates and clauses onto the LegalOn platform. The partnership gives in-house legal teams a way to draft, review and negotiate Singapore-related contracts against locally grounded standards, without leaving the platform. It's the latest move since LegalOn's expansion into Asia-Pacific in February 2026, as the company continues to build out its presence in the region.

“Legal AI's real value lies in helping lawyers work more efficiently while protecting the quality, judgment and trust at the core of legal expertise,” said Yu-Hong Seah, APAC Regional Director of LegalOn Technologies. “Our partnership with the Singapore Academy of Law helps lawyers and in-house legal teams in Singapore build practical AI into their daily work, cutting time spent on repetitive tasks so they can focus on higher-value strategic and advisory work.”

As companies expand globally, contracts increasingly need to reflect each country's legal systems and practices. Legal teams working on overseas deals must draft and review agreements that hold up under local law, while still meeting their own standards. SAL's contract templates and clause libraries give LegalOn users that local grounding directly inside the platform, backed by content that reflects how contracts work in Singapore. LegalOn's AI contract review also complies with Singapore law, part of a broader effort to strengthen the company's presence in the region.

“As legal practice becomes increasingly cross-border and the use of AI continues to grow, access to trusted, jurisdiction-specific content is critical,” said Yeong Zee Kin, Chief Executive of Singapore Academy of Law. “By bringing SAL’s corporate references into LegalOn’s AI-enabled platform, this integration enables lawyers and in-house teams to harness AI with greater confidence in drafting and review, while keeping their work grounded in authoritative Singapore law sources and informed professional judgment.”

Built for Global Legal Teams

The SAL partnership is the latest in a series of capabilities built to help in-house legal teams manage work across borders and languages:

  • International Playbooks: Review standards for NDAs and common commercial contracts across 23 countries, including Singapore, built by LegalOn's legal team and reviewed by jurisdiction-specific attorneys, so teams can start reviewing against local standards without engaging outside counsel.
  • Translate: AI-powered translation across dozens of languages that lets teams review and redline contracts in English while returning precise markups in the original language, preserving clause structure, terminology and intent.
  • 100+ Attorney-Built Prompt Workflows: A library of ready-to-use AI workflows spanning ten practice areas, each available in US, EU and Singapore variants, giving legal teams a running start on high-volume tasks without building prompts from scratch.

LegalOn also offers dedicated data residency in the European Union and Singapore, so customer data is stored and processed in line with local regulatory requirements.
